WARWICK SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE UNITED WAY OF LANCASTER COUNTY

Dear Colleague,

Warwick School District and Warwick Education Association have a long history of promoting involvement in our local community. The need for services and financial support in our community continues to rise for our families. Each year, we present an opportunity to contribute to United Way.  United Way of Lancaster County has supported many of our Warwick families including Warwick students and Warwick staff. We are asking you to partner with us and plan to give to this year’s campaign to make an impact in our community. Warwick’s campaign will run from August 26, 2024 through September 30, 2024. For those considering this opportunity to contribute to United Way, we would like to emphasize several aspects of the United Way campaign:

We will be utilizing the United Way “Give At Work” online platform for donations again this year. Link to Warwick’s page:  https://warwicksd.uwlancaster.stratuslive.com/  This platform describes the goal areas of United Way and includes the Warwick Education Foundation as an option for voluntary payroll deduction contributions.

  1. Our campaign window is the only time contributions are solicited from Warwick staff for United Way.
  2. This year contributors have the chance to win exciting prizes from United Way. Details are available in the contribution online system. In addition, Warwick School District staff members who contribute $75.00 (minimum $5/pay for 15 pay periods) or more (lump sum or payroll deduction) to United Way of Lancaster County will be eligible to win one of two (2) half-day vacations (PM only) scheduled at the discretion of the winning staff members and the appropriate supervisors. We will select the winning entries on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, and announce the lucky winners the following week.

Our goals for this school year are to have a minimum of 50 individual contributors and a minimum of $6000 in total contributions. Your contribution is tax deductible and can be specifically directed to one or several of United Way of Lancaster County donor choice options. All pledges should be made in the online system by September 30th to be eligible for campaign prizes. Please consider helping us meet these goals!

Thank you,
